Circa early to mid-19th century, this stunning 12ct gold antique amethyst pendant showcases beautiful Georgian era goldwork. Suspended from a claw set round amethyst, the bottom drop features a large oval faceted, vivid purple amethyst surrounded by intricate repoussé and cannetille work of scrolls and flowers. This beautiful piece was originally a brooch and was converted into a pendant in a later period, possibly in Victorian era, with added amethyst on the top.
