RETURN & REFUND:
Items purchased at Midsomer Jewellery may be returned within 7 Days of receival. Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser. Any refunds on cash, transfer, PayPal or any other payment platform, will be given in the form of bank transfer, no refunds will be given in cash unless stated otherwise.

Customers are responsible for the return postage fees. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be sent back in unused, unopened, original condition, in the original packaging. Closeouts, custom pieces and resized pieces are NOT returnable or exchangeable. Please contact us to start a return & refund procedure.

SPECIAL ORDERS:
Special orders are not refundable. All special orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewellery, gemstone, watch, gift item, or altered pieces (including ring sizing) at the customer’s request.

GEMSTONE & WHITE GOLD ENHANCEMENT:
If you purchase a gemstone, please note that many gemstones have historically and traditionally been enhanced to improve colour and/or stability. Most white gold pieces are rhodium finished, which is not a permanent treatment and may need to be re-finished in time.

INSURANCE:
We recommend and suggest that you have your jewellery insured by your Homeowners, Renters Insurance Company, or the Independent Insurance Company of your choice. In most cases you will need to contact your insurance company to specifically add your jewellery to your policy. The coverage should include loss, theft, and damage.

LAY-BYS:
A 4-week term limit is allowed on all laybys. An extension can be requested and in most cases is granted based upon the pay history. If a layby is cancelled, a restocking fee of 15% of the total item price will be retained.

SALE ITEMS:
All sale items are sold “As Is”.

WARRANTY:
All regularly priced merchandise will be sold with a 7 day warranty (commencing from the date received indicated by the provided tracking number).  Fine jewellery items are meant to be treated with the utmost care.  Our warranty will not cover abuse, alteration or normal wear and tear of an item. Cracks and shattering from drops or carelessness will not be covered. Items damaged during the process of cleaning such ultrasonic or chemical cleaning will not be covered. Damage or stone movement from cleaning will not be covered. Improper care of porous gemstones such as opal and emerald will not be covered.

All refunds will go through investigative procedures, prior to the refund being processed.

All cash transactions over $10,000 will be reported to the ATO.

SHIPPING POLICY


FREE AUSTRALIAN DOMESTIC SHIPPING – all packages are fully insured with signature requirements.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING will be calculated at checkout. International orders are final. Customers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and fees.

Please note that international orders may experience longer transit times due to various factors beyond our control. Unforeseen delays can occur, and we will make every effort to keep you informed as soon as we receive updates regarding any such delays.

SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY:
It’s important for a signature to be obtained upon delivery, this is automatically added to the shipping quote. If you specifically request for the courier to leave your parcel in a designated safe location, please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any lost deliveries in such instances.

PROCESSING YOUR ORDERS:
1-3 Business Days handling time upon receiving payment, unless otherwise specified.

If there are any discrepancies between the shipping and billing addresses, or if any other unusual activity is detected, your order may experience a delay as we conduct additional checks to ensure security and accuracy. Please check your communication, we may contact you to confirm details.

SHIPPING YOUR ORDERS:
To ensure security of high-value orders, a signature will be required upon delivery. If you anticipate being unavailable to personally sign for your package, we kindly request that you arrange for an authorised adult to be present at the designated shipping address, otherwise your order will be left at the nearest post office or parcel collection center.

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification containing a shipment confirmation and a tracking number, allowing you to track the progress of your package.

TRACKING YOUR ORDERS:
Please be aware that depending on the security settings of your email inbox, our confirmation email may occasionally land in your SPAM or Junk folder.
