Andamooka opal, also known as the “Queen’s Opal” was discovered in 1930s in South Australia, and was presented to Queen Elizabeth II on the event of her first authorized state trip to Australia in 1954. This unique Andamooka opal was cut in pear shape, featuring beautiful fine-grained matrix rainbow colours on a dark gray background. Bezel set in a 14ct yellow gold frame.
