A vintage 9ct gold signet ring that sits exceptionally close to the finger featuring a royal crest topped with a cap crown, made up of single-cut melee diamonds in filigree settings on a quilted background, and flanked with raised scroll designs reminiscent of similar floral motifs from the Arts and Crafts Movement. Subversive and a highly unusual specimen. The shocking lime green colour has been hand-applied with vitreous enamel, a technique that requires numerous careful glazes that are kiln-fired, melting the coloured glass powder and filling the depressions to reveal the design carved into the surface.
